The Learning Institute, accompanied by MCC students actively involved in the Institute's research projects, embarked on a remarkable educational journey to Istanbul. This visit marked a significant step in fostering international cooperation and cultural exchange.

Our first stop was Doğuş University, a prominent academic institution in Istanbul. The day began with an introductory meeting, where we were warmly received by the university's professors, students, and international office representatives. This session offered us the opportunity to learn about the university's academic programs and its approach to education.

The discussions soon expanded into a broader dialogue about the similarities and differences between the Turkish and Hungarian education systems. Both sides shared insights, challenges, and potential solutions, paving the way for meaningful collaboration.

One of the highlights of the visit was an exchange of perspectives on history education. Turkish professors provided an in-depth overview of how history is taught in their country, shedding light on unique methodologies and the emphasis placed on national heritage. In return, we presented the innovative MCC model, which integrates traditional and contemporary approaches to education, fostering critical thinking and global awareness among students.

As a gesture of mutual respect and collaboration, history books were exchanged, symbolizing the shared commitment to deepening cultural understanding.

The visit also provided an opportunity to experience the renowned Turkish hospitality. Over cups of rich Turkish coffee and aromatic tea, informal conversations unfolded, strengthening the bonds between our teams. These moments of connection underscored the importance of personal relationships in fostering successful collaborations.

Beyond the academic discussions, we were impressed by the dynamic and welcoming atmosphere of Doğuş University. Meetings with the university leadership and international office revealed a shared vision for the future of education: one that transcends borders and encourages cooperation across cultures.

This visit marks the beginning of what we hope will be a fruitful and long-lasting partnership between the Learning Research Institute and Doğuş University. By combining our expertise and experiences, we aim to contribute to the global dialogue on education and open new avenues for research and collaboration.

We extend our heartfelt thanks to Doğuş University for their warm hospitality and for making this visit an inspiring and memorable experience. We look forward to the opportunities that lie ahead!
