Enikő Szakos currently focuses on education policy, educational trends, and the everyday challenges faced by children, parents, and teachers at the institute. Within higher education research, she places particular emphasis on teacher training and works to promote the use of traditional educational tools alongside exploring technological innovations.
As a teacher of mathematics, English language, and culture, she primarily worked in elementary public education institutions.
While at the University of Nyíregyháza, she contributed to the institution's internationalization efforts, integrating it into a global network. With years of teaching experience and an interest in higher education policy, she researched university model transformations.
She later became the program coordinator for training at Moholy-Nagy University of Art and Design and then served as the training development lead for the University of Future Program (Jövő Egyeteme).
At the Learning Institute, she began as a researcher on an educational technology project. From March 2023, she took on the role of professional coordinator, overseeing and supporting various projects and shaping the institute's other professional programs, including book editing. As of 2024, she has returned to research, focusing on professional analyses, public educational lectures, and scientific work.
