Melinda Hal primarily works as a psychologist, though she previously held economist positions at Egis Pharmaceuticals Plc. and CIB Bank. Since 2015, she has taught at several universities, including Pázmány Péter Catholic University and Semmelweis University. Her practical psychology work is mainly conducted at the Psychiatry Department of Szent Rókus Hospital in Baja.
She introduced an innovative course called Science Marketing. Melinda believes that the MCC and its students, with their talent and motivation, can provide a strong foundation for this course. This unique program addresses a gap not found elsewhere in the country. Globally, only a few institutions emphasize the communication, PR, and marketing of scientific achievements. Together, she envisions making scientific value accessible beyond the walls of laboratories.
Pain management is a specialized research area for her. She hopes to achieve unprecedented effectiveness in headache treatment by combining basic and applied research with practical testing, ultimately supporting those living with chronic pain.
In November 2021, she became a licensed clinical and mental health psychologist.
