Dr. Ágnes Fazekas is a researcher at MCC's Learning Institute, leader of the Workplace Research and Learning Development Group (WoRLD), assistant professor at the Faculty of Education and Psychology at Eötvös Loránd University (ELTE), lecturer at the Teacher Training Center of the University of Szeged, and an external supervisor at the Doctoral School of Safety and Security Sciences at Óbuda University.
She holds qualifications as a teacher and scholar in pedagogy and educational management, French language and literature, and art and art history. She earned her PhD at the Doctoral School of Education at ELTE PPK in 2019. Her research focuses on the implementation of educational development programs, educational innovations, change management, organizational operations and development, and workplace learning. In these fields, she has authored five books, along with numerous book chapters, studies, research reports, and conference proceedings.
She teaches a variety of subjects in Hungarian and English, including the theory and practice of lifelong learning, organizing and managing development projects, innovation and change management, grants and projects, the history of policy and adult education, project management and marketing in human development, strategic management, organizational development, and EU knowledge.
In addition to her academic work, she is an experienced practitioner in educational reform, contributing to numerous international and national development initiatives. Her most recent project focused on supporting the development of Ethiopian industrial parks through a blended-method diagnostic analysis of educational practices in the relevant regions and outlining their developmental prospects.
